This tour is the perfect way to make the most of your stopover (layover) in Warsaw. From the moment our guide greets you at Warsaw Chopin Airport, your city experience begins. You’ll discover the capital’s most iconic sights in comfort, with an itinerary tailored to the time you have available.
At the end of the tour, we’ll ensure you are dropped off back at the airport in time for your onward flight, or at your hotel in the city centre if you’re staying overnight. For your peace of mind, we also monitor flight status in case of delays.

3-hour layover / stopover tour in Warsaw
During the 3-hour tour, you will see the must-sees of Warsaw. You will have a guided walk in the Lazienki Royal Park with the iconic Chopin Monument, Warsaw Old Town with the Royal Castle and the Warsaw Mermaid, as well as the Royal Route with the Presidential Palace and Warsaw University. You will also pass by the famous Palace of Culture and Science!
4-hour layover / stopover tour in Warsaw
If you have an additional hour at your disposal, you can also walk on the grounds of the Warsaw ghetto and see the remains of the Ghetto wall. You will also be able to learn the history of the Warsaw Uprising at Krasinski Square.

If you have more time to spare in Warsaw, it is a good idea to have lunch or dinner at a traditional local restaurant in the Old Town - we can make a reservation for you free of charge! When you place a booking via the calendar please indicate your flight number and time.
We will be tracking your flight and we will know when you land.
Even if your flight is delayed we will wait for you (up to 1 hour free of charge, 20EUR every next hour to be paid in a form of the tip to the guide).
If you are afraid of the delay you car request a later pick up, e.g. 2 hours after the landing time.

A Remarkable and Deeply Moving Journey Through Poland’s History – Expertly Guided & Organized
This was our first time in Poland, planned around the Iron Maiden concert in Warsaw, and we wanted to experience as much WWII history as possible. From start to finish, our journey with AB Poland Travel was unforgettable. Thanks to Magda and Zuzanna’s outstanding coordination, every detail—from hotel bookings to taxi transfers—and daily schedules.
Each guide brought their own expertise and passion. Jurek and Jacek took us through Lublin, Majda nek, and Sobibór, weaving personal stories and deep historical insight into an emotional, humbling day. Wojtek led us to the Wolf’s Lair and Mamerki with an academic’s precision. Paweł brought Warsaw’s history alive, from the Old Town to local hangouts, Warsaw Ghetto sites, and later guided us through Treblinka and the Białowieża forest. Even our long day to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków with Jacek was expertly managed—an intense, meaningful experience.

Great overview of Warsaw during a layover
I had a 5h30m layover in Warsaw and am so glad I decided to book this tour. Piotr was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he customized the tour to my interests.
