Tour plan
3-hour tour
Discover the story of Frederic Chopin while walking through the most beautiful and historic parts of Warsaw.
Your eyes will be delighted by the peaceful, green scenery of the Łazienki Royal Park, and from May to September, your ears will be treated to free open-air Chopin piano concerts held every Sunday at 12:00 and 16:00.
In the park, you’ll see the world-famous Chopin Monument, which was the first statue in Warsaw destroyed during World War II. According to legend, the next morning someone placed a note at the site that read:
“I don’t know who destroyed me, but I know why — so that I wouldn’t play the funeral march for your leader.”
Your tour continues to the Ostrogski Castle, home to the Fryderyk Chopin Museum, and then to the Zamoyski Palace, from which Russian soldiers once threw Chopin’s piano out of the window. This tragic event was later immortalized in a Polish poem with the famous line:
“The Ideal has reached the street.”
Walking along the Royal Route, you’ll stop by the Holy Cross Church, where Chopin’s heart is interred — still symbolically “beating” in his beloved city. You’ll also see the Radziwiłł Palace (now the Presidential Palace), where Chopin gave his first public concert, and finish your walk in the Saxon Garden, where the young composer met his first love.

5-hour tour
The 5-hour Chopin tour includes everything from the 3-hour route, with the addition of a visit to the Chopin Museum in Warsaw — one of the most modern biographical museums in Europe.
Here, you can explore Chopin’s letters, manuscripts, and personal belongings, listen to his music, and gain a deeper understanding of the composer’s genius and the times in which he lived.

A Remarkable and Deeply Moving Journey Through Poland’s History – Expertly Guided & Organized
This was our first time in Poland, planned around the Iron Maiden concert in Warsaw, and we wanted to experience as much WWII history as possible. From start to finish, our journey with AB Poland Travel was unforgettable. Thanks to Magda and Zuzanna’s outstanding coordination, every detail—from hotel bookings to taxi transfers—and daily schedules.
Each guide brought their own expertise and passion. Jurek and Jacek took us through Lublin, Majda nek, and Sobibór, weaving personal stories and deep historical insight into an emotional, humbling day. Wojtek led us to the Wolf’s Lair and Mamerki with an academic’s precision. Paweł brought Warsaw’s history alive, from the Old Town to local hangouts, Warsaw Ghetto sites, and later guided us through Treblinka and the Białowieża forest. Even our long day to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków with Jacek was expertly managed—an intense, meaningful experience.
Behind the scenes, Magda and the office team were incredible—quick to respond, flexible with adjustments, and genuinely committed to making our trip special. ... [read more]
