Tour plan
The tour begins in Łódź, where you’ll board a comfortable train from Łódź Fabryczna Station.
You can reach the station on foot, by taxi, or by public transport from your hotel – on your own. If you prefer, we can also arrange a private taxi transfer for you at an additional cost – see the “Supplements” section below.
After a 1.5-hour train journey, our local guide will meet you directly on the platform in Warsaw and take you on a 5-hour walking tour of the city’s most iconic landmarks (a tour by car can be arranged for an additional fee).*
You’ll start at Castle Square with Sigismund’s Column and the Royal Castle, then stroll through the charming Old Town and New Town, where you’ll see St. John’s Archcathedral, the Warsaw Mermaid, and the Barbican. Continue along the elegant Royal Route, passing St. Anne’s Church, the Presidential Palace, the University of Warsaw, and the Holy Cross Church, where Chopin’s heart rests. You’ll also visit Piłsudski Square with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Krasiński Square with the Warsaw Uprising Monument, as well as Grzybowski Square, the former Ghetto area, and a preserved section of the Ghetto Wall. The tour ends by the Palace of Culture and Science. During the tour, you will have a relaxing cup of coffee in a local iconic cafeteria (it is a surprise!).
After the sightseeing, you’ll have some free time to relax and enjoy lunch. Before saying goodbye, your guide will recommend a few interesting places to visit during your free time — such as local restaurants, cafés, or nearby attractions — so you can make the most of the rest of your stay in Warsaw.
In the evening, you’ll take a fast train back to Łódź, arriving comfortably at Łódź Fabryczna Station.

A Remarkable and Deeply Moving Journey Through Poland’s History – Expertly Guided & Organized
This was our first time in Poland, planned around the Iron Maiden concert in Warsaw, and we wanted to experience as much WWII history as possible. From start to finish, our journey with AB Poland Travel was unforgettable. Thanks to Magda and Zuzanna’s outstanding coordination, every detail—from hotel bookings to taxi transfers—and daily schedules.
Each guide brought their own expertise and passion. Jurek and Jacek took us through Lublin, Majda nek, and Sobibór, weaving personal stories and deep historical insight into an emotional, humbling day. Wojtek led us to the Wolf’s Lair and Mamerki with an academic’s precision. Paweł brought Warsaw’s history alive, from the Old Town to local hangouts, Warsaw Ghetto sites, and later guided us through Treblinka and the Białowieża forest. Even our long day to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków with Jacek was expertly managed—an intense, meaningful experience.
Behind the scenes, Magda and the office team were incredible—quick to respond, flexible with adjustments, and genuinely committed to making our trip special. ... [read more]
