Where does the sleigh ride take place?
The sleigh ride takes in the forest of Kampinoski National Park. It is the nearest National Park to Warsaw, located just around 40 km north-west of the capital’s outskirts. The National Park, together with a nearby Valley of Vistula, is an important thriving area for many animals, for example, mooses, beavers, and lynxes, just to name a few. If you are lucky, you may spot them on the way. The forest is beautiful and full of life each season of the year.
Tour plan
You will be picked up by our English-speaking driver from your hotel/apartment in Warsaw. After 1-hour ride, you will reach the stable, hop onboard the horse-drawn sleigh and take a journey through the woods. After the ride, you will warm yourself up by a campfire with sausages, bread, and hot tea. The entire event will take 2-3 hours. Afterward, you will come back to Warsaw and be dropped off at your hotel.
In case of lack of snow or in the summertime, the sleigh will be replaced by a horse-drawn carriage.

A Remarkable and Deeply Moving Journey Through Poland’s History – Expertly Guided & Organized
This was our first time in Poland, planned around the Iron Maiden concert in Warsaw, and we wanted to experience as much WWII history as possible. Wojtek led us to the Wolf’s Lair and Mamerki with an academic’s precision. Paweł brought Warsaw’s history alive, from the Old Town to local hangouts, Warsaw Ghetto sites, and later guided us through Treblinka and the Białowieża forest. Even our long day to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków with Jacek was expertly managed—an intense, meaningful experience.

Kulig on wheels!
Thank you Piotr for a very personalized and memorable visit to some lovely stables in the woods for "kulig" - because of the lack of snow, we did a carriage ride rather than a sleigh ride. We had so much fun and loved spending time at the stables/on the horse carriage, eating a home cooked meal over a fire, and learning a lot about Poland!
