A Remarkable and Deeply Moving Journey Through Poland’s History – Expertly Guided & Organized
This was our first time in Poland, planned around the Iron Maiden concert in Warsaw, and we wanted to experience as much WWII history as possible. From start to finish, our journey with AB Poland Travel was unforgettable. Thanks to Magda and Zuzanna’s outstanding coordination, every detail—from hotel bookings to taxi transfers—and daily schedules.
Each guide brought their own expertise and passion. Jurek and Jacek took us through Lublin, Majda nek, and Sobibór, weaving personal stories and deep historical insight into an emotional, humbling day. Wojtek led us to the Wolf’s Lair and Mamerki with an academic’s precision. Paweł brought Warsaw’s history alive, from the Old Town to local hangouts, Warsaw Ghetto sites, and later guided us through Treblinka and the Białowieża forest. Even our long day to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków with Jacek was expertly managed—an intense, meaningful experience.
Behind the scenes, Magda and the office team were incredible—quick to respond, flexible with adjustments, and genuinely committed to making our trip special.

The tour was so much fun and very interesting.
The tour was so much fun and very interesting. We started by getting in a car with Paul, who drove us all the way down to Krakow while giving us background information on what we would be doing for the day. He also gave out tidbits of info on places we were passing by. Monica was our tour guide for Krakow and she was a wellspring of knowledge about the local area. They were both very professional and fun to be around. I got to see so many beautif ul places both in Krakow and in the countryside because of their knowledge and expertise with history and they could give information and comments that would help me to understand the area better in the context of Polish history and customs. ...
