Choose one of our comfortable Krakow tours combining walking and short taxi transfers. You'll explore the city's most iconic sights, including the famous Market Square, the historic Wawel Hill by the Vistula River, the charming former Jewish district of Kazimierz, and the legendary Schindler’s Factory. Tour plan
We offer 3 tour options:
3-hour tour
This tour focuses on the Old Town, where our guide will walk you through the Main Market Square – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll admire the Renaissance Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) and, if you're lucky to be there on the hour, you'll hear the famous Hejnal Mariacki trumpet call from the tower of St. Mary’s Basilica.

You’ll then continue on foot to Wawel Hill, where you’ll learn about the history of the Royal Castle and visit Wawel Cathedral. Near the Wawel Dragon Statue, you’ll hear the legendary tale of Prince Krakus and the Dragon.

Next, we’ll take a taxi transfer to the Kazimierz district, the heart of Jewish Krakow. There, you’ll see important synagogues (Old, Remuh, Tempel, Kupa, Wolf Popper, Isaac’s, and the High) and stroll around Nowy Square, a favorite meeting place for locals.

5-hour tour
This extended version includes everything from the 3-hour tour, with additional time in the Kazimierz district, where your guide will show you more hidden corners and tell deeper stories about Jewish culture in Krakow. You’ll walk past the famous Schindler’s Factory and learn about its history from the outside. This format avoids museum queues and allows more time to explore the city while still sharing the impactful story of Oskar Schindler, who saved over 1,000 Jews during WWII.
Afterwards, you’ll take a taxi to the site of the former Plaszow concentration camp. Although much of the camp no longer stands, your guide will walk you through its powerful history and show you the Monument to the Victims of Fascism, commemorating the thousands who were imprisoned there.

7-hour tour
This full-day tour includes all elements of the 5-hour itinerary and continues with a scenic walk along the Vistula Boulevards in Krakow. This peaceful riverside promenade offers beautiful views of the Wawel Castle, charming bridges, and green spaces that are perfect for a relaxing stroll. Your guide will share stories about the city’s relationship with the Vistula River and highlight interesting landmarks along the way. It's a lovely way to wind down the day and experience Krakow from a different, more tranquil perspective.

A Remarkable and Deeply Moving Journey Through Poland’s History – Expertly Guided & Organized
This was our first time in Poland, planned around the Iron Maiden concert in Warsaw, and we wanted to experience as much WWII history as possible. From start to finish, our journey with AB Poland Travel was unforgettable. Thanks to Magda and Zuzanna’s outstanding coordination, every detail—from hotel bookings to taxi transfers—and daily schedules.
Each guide brought their own expertise and passion. Jurek and Jacek took us through Lublin, Majda nek, and Sobibór, weaving personal stories and deep historical insight into an emotional, humbling day. Wojtek led us to the Wolf’s Lair and Mamerki with an academic’s precision. Paweł brought Warsaw’s history alive, from the Old Town to local hangouts, Warsaw Ghetto sites, and later guided us through Treblinka and the Białowieża forest. Even our long day to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków with Jacek was expertly managed—an intense, meaningful experience.
Behind the scenes, Magda and the office team were incredible—quick to respond, flexible with adjustments, and genuinely committed to making our trip special. ... [read more]
