Tour plan
This tour starts in Warsaw, and you will travel by train to Krakow. During the 2-day trip, you will visit Krakow, Wieliczka Salt Mine, and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. The order of sightseeing depends on the availability of entrance tickets and local guides. On the second day, you will return to Warsaw by train, arriving between 19:00 and 23:00, depending on your preferences.

Useful
For security reasons maximum size of backpacks or handbags brought into the Auschwitz museum cannot exceed dimensions: 30x20x10 cm. Please leave your bags in the car.
You need to go down 800 steps in the Wieliczka Salt Mine. In the beginning, you have to take 350 of them in order to get to the mine. Wear comfortable shoes. In case you have walking difficulties you can join a group for disabled tourists so that you avoid the steps (though you visit fewer chambers).
Please bring warm clothes for Wieliczka Salt Mine. The temperature underground ranges between 14° and 16° C.

This was our first time in Poland, planned around the Iron Maiden concert in Warsaw, and we wanted to experience as much WWII history as possible. From start to finish, our journey with AB Poland Travel was unforgettable.
