The history of Krakow’s Jews began in 11th century. For many years they were working and living in a town called Kazimierz – nowadays it is a district of Krakow. At the beginning of the 20th century, 25 percent of Krakow’s population was Jewish. Despite years of heavy losses caused by World War II, Jewish culture is still present in the city.

A great travel agency

AB Poland worked with me to completely customize my three days in Poland and make the most of my time. They answered all of my questions, made great suggestions and built the perfect itinerary all at reasonable enough prices. Plus, my guides Jacek in Warsaw and Kinga in Krakow were knowledgeable and friendly hosts, making conversation easy. Have nothing bad to say at all. I would highly recommend AB Poland.

The Galicia Jewish Museum shows the tragic history of the Holocaust and Jewish culture from a new perspective. On the other side of the Vistula river, at the GhettoHerosSquare, there is a conspiracy place from the World War II period – the Eagle Pharmacy.
