The musical genius of Frederic Chopin is celebrated around the world, and there is no better place to experience his legacy than in Warsaw, the city where he was born, raised, and composed his first masterpieces.
Join us for an intimate piano recital in the heart of Warsaw’s Old Town, right next to Castle Square – a location steeped in history and the spirit of 19th-century Warsaw that deeply influenced Chopin’s art, even long after he left Poland.
During the intermission, guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary drink: a glass of traditional Polish mead or freshly pressed apple juice, along with unlimited still water.
The concert features performances on an authentic Pleyel piano – the very brand that Chopin himself favored, saying it best expressed the nature of his music. Our late 19th-century instrument has been meticulously restored, combining noble tradition with modern mechanics. It offers a clear tone, wide dynamic range, and a lyrical, singing pianissimo, complemented by a rich and resonant forte.
Uniquely, the piano is tuned to the Verdi tuning standard of 432 Hz, used during Chopin’s lifetime. This tuning creates a beautifully velvety, natural, and warm sound, especially fitting for intimate concert halls. It is the only piano recital in Warsaw performed on an instrument tuned to 432 Hz – a true concert piano and a work of art in itself.

A Remarkable and Deeply Moving Journey Through Poland’s History – Expertly Guided & Organized
This was our first time in Poland, planned around the Iron Maiden concert in Warsaw, and we wanted to experience as much WWII history as possible. From start to finish, our journey with AB Poland Travel was unforgettable. Thanks to Magda and Zuzanna’s outstanding coordination, every detail—from hotel bookings to taxi transfers—and daily schedules.
Each guide brought their own expertise and passion. Jurek and Jacek took us through Lublin, Majda nek, and Sobibór, weaving personal stories and deep historical insight into an emotional, humbling day. Wojtek led us to the Wolf’s Lair and Mamerki with an academic’s precision. Paweł brought Warsaw’s history alive, from the Old Town to local hangouts, Warsaw Ghetto sites, and later guided us through Treblinka and the Białowieża forest. Even our long day to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków with Jacek was expertly managed—an intense, meaningful experience.
