Tour plan
This tour starts in Poznan. You will be picked up by our English-speaking driver-guide from your hotel. You will visit Gniezno and Biskupin with a guide. Afterwards, you will have 1 hour of free time for lunch. You can extend the tour and visit the residence of the early Piast (the first Polish dynasty) on Ostrow Lednicki island. You will come back to Poznan in the afternoon. The entire tour will last around 7 hours.

This was our first time in Poland, planned around the Iron Maiden concert in Warsaw, and we wanted to experience as much WWII history as possible. From start to finish, our journey with AB Poland Travel was unforgettable. Thanks to Magda and Zuzanna’s outstanding coordination, every detail—from hotel bookings to taxi transfers—and daily schedules.
Each guide brought their own expertise and passion. Jurek and Jacek took us through Lublin, Majda nek, and Sobibór, weaving personal stories and deep historical insight into an emotional, humbling day. Wojtek led us to the Wolf’s Lair and Mamerki with an academic’s precision. Paweł brought Warsaw’s history alive, from the Old Town to local hangouts, Warsaw Ghetto sites, and later guided us through Treblinka and the Białowieża forest. Even our long day to Auschwitz-Birkenau and Kraków with Jacek was expertly managed—an intense, meaningful experience.
