Info
In honor of the ASAIHL 2022 event, we have designed three tours for those who would like to explore Poland after the conference. You can choose one of the two full-day tours or a half-day city tour of Warsaw. Warsaw is Poland's capital, where anyone is bound to find something interesting for them. Gdansk is Poland’s pincipal port situated on the Baltic coast. Krakow is the city of Polish kings and legends.
Tickets to Auschwitz sell out well in advance and are in very limited supply, therefore early booking is recommended. For the bookings made less than 7 days before the tour extra cost of 15EUR/person applies.
Prices
per person for the Warsaw city tour
per person for the Krakow/ Gdansk tour
We require a minimum of 4 people for each tour. In case there are less than 4 participants, we will provie train tickets instead of transportation by minibus.
Discover a real gem, a former capital and the most popular destination in Poland – Krakow. Take a walk in the iconic Market Square, see the famous Wawel Castle and Cathedral, feel the magical atmosphere of a former Jewish district Kazimierz and visit the intriguing underground market!

Gdansk is Poland’s principal port, situated on the Baltic coast. Back in medieval times, it was a member of the Hanseatic League. The city has a complex, yet fascinating history – this is where the famous Polish labor union “Solidarnosc” (Solidarity) was born. You will be charmed by outstanding and well-preserved Renaissance architecture as well as narrow streets full of atmospheric shops with handmade amber jewelry.

Useful
For security reasons maximum size of backpacks or handbags brought into the Auschwitz museum cannot exceed dimensions: 30x20x10 cm. Please leave your bags in the car.
You need to go down 800 steps in the Wieliczka Salt Mine. In the beginning, you have to take 350 of them in order to get to the mine. Wear comfortable shoes. In case you have walking difficulties you can join a group for disabled tourists so that you avoid the steps (though you visit fewer chambers).
Please bring warm clothes for Wieliczka Salt Mine. The temperature underground ranges between 14° and 16° C.

A great travel agency
AB Poland worked with me to completely customize my three days in Poland and make the most of my time. They answered all of my questions, made great suggestions and built the perfect itinerary all at reasonable enough prices. Plus, my guides Jacek in Warsaw and Kinga in Krakow were knowledgeable and friendly hosts, making conversation easy. Have nothing bad to say at all. I would highly recommend AB Poland.
