Moszna castle
The castle in Moszna is one of the most fairy-tale-like castles in Poland. Its primary style is Baroque, but architectural details and decorations reveal the influence of other periods as well. The look of the castle is reminiscent of the residences from the Elizabethan era (16th century England). Art Nouveau (Secession) is another style that was incorporated into the building's decor during its modernization at the turn of the 20th century. That period in Europe went down in history as “La Belle Epoque”. Together with the surrounding park, Moszna Castle is now a perfect venue for outdoor events and art performances, most notably the summer concerts of a festival called Jazz in the Palaces. The castle has 365 rooms, some of which have been arranged to accommodate guests, who may also dine in the palace restaurant.
