Korzeniowy Dol ravine

The Kazimierz Dolny area is well known for its loess ravines which are great to discover. The most popular one is Korzeniowy Dol. Its projecting, twisted tree roots create a surreal, fairy-tale landscape, which is an inspiration to many painters. Some say entering the ravine feels like stepping into Tolkien’s novel. The walk through the ravine is not long or demanding – it takes around 15 minutes and is mainly downhill.
