Tour plan
This tour starts in Warsaw. You will be picked up by our English-speaking driver from your hotel/apartment. You will get to the meeting point for the balloon flight in the Podlasie region, around 150 kilometres north-east of Warsaw. The exemplary meeting point is the town of Tykocin. There, you will join your pilot and reach the place from which you will take off (it can be located up to 500 metres from the meeting point). The flight will start early in the morning and take around 1 hour, but the entire experience will take around 3 hours. After the flight you will be driven back to the meeting point. Afterwards, you will have some free time for breakfast and visiting local tourist spots. You can visit one of the two attractions: a small town of Tykocin famous for one of the best-preserved baroque synagogues in Poland or Narew National Park with floating platforms. After the tour you will be dropped off at your hotel/apartment. The entire tour will take around 11-12 hours.

Useful
- Before the flight need to receive the weight of each participant.
- The flight can take place early in the morning or just before the sunset. The timing depends on the season, weather conditions, etc. We confirm the starting time around 3 days before the tour by e-mail.
- The best time for balloon flights is between April and September. In the autumn and winter flights can be operated provided it is not humid.
- The exact location of the flight depends on the weather conditions, to be confirmed 2-3 days before the tour (it can be either Podlasie or Masuria region). If you are interested only in one of these locations, please let us know in advance.
- Since permission for take-off depends on weather conditions, it is important for you to be flexible. If the weather does not allow the flight (due to rain or strong wind), the tour needs to be rescheduled. Usually, 2-3 days in advance is enough to confirm the date.
- Please bring comfortable, rather warm clothes. Usually the passengers are asked to help inflate the balloon, so we recommend not wearing your best outfit. Also, please remember to wear comfortable shoes, as you may need to walk across the moist or muddy fields after landing. High heels and flip-flops are definitely not reccommended.
- We recommend bringing your camera and binoculars. However, we do not take responsibility for any damages.
- The exact course of the flight depends on the wind. A pilot cannot choose a direction of the flight, he can only control the altitude. That makes it even more exciting, as you never know where the wind is going to take you and where you are going to land! How far you will go depends on the wind speed.

A great travel agency
