Tricity is an urban area consisting of three major Polish cities in the Pomeranian region (Sopot, Gdansk and Gdynia). Situated just by the Baltic sea and adjacent to one another, together they create the most popular tourist center of Northern Poland. Even though the cities are located so closely, each of them is different and offers its own unique atmosphere with amazing, diverse attractions. Sopot is a Polish luxury seaside resort, Gdynia is famous for the shipyard and Gdansk for its medieval architecture and contribution to the fall of the communism in Europe.
